“A Brief History of the Future” a publication edited by Sonia Fernandez Pan which was produced in the context of the exhibition “El futuro no espera“, held in La Capella, Barcelona, from 12/11/2014 to 18/01/2015.
The book is a compendium of interviews that “put into practice a history that is not alike the history that we’ve been constructing” in Fernández Pan words. A history without events, a history based on possible questions and possible answers.
In addition to the artists participating in the Capellas’s exhibition (i.e. Basel Abbas & Ruanne Abou-Rahme, Iván Argote & Pauline Bastard, Lúa Coderch, Cristina de Middel, Regina de Miguel & Agnieszka Polska), “A Brief History of the Future” includes contributions by Boris Groys, Raimundas Malašauskas and Jaron Rowan, who were as well encouraged to build a history were the weight of the events is substituted by the encounter of a dialogue.
