As part of our long-term collaboration with DERC and Future Making Research Unit, we organize in Aarhus, Denmark a seminar for the series Data Ethnographies titled ‘Looking for the smart in the Data’. In this, we gathered very talent people such Martin Brynscov, Annette Markham, Rachel Smith and Marcus Forth as well members of our research team to discuss what means smarts in the age of Big data and how we can inquiry ethnographically on it. Our aim was put in common our path to deal with big data and infrastructures futures to understand how to intervene in the disscution about data futures and cities.
Data Futures will not be the same after such great seminar that soon will be materialized in a co-authored article for Big Data and Society.
